Had some sound proofing stuff left over from my Ibiza from a few years ago, decided to put some in the Leon. It is a very heavy vinyl with about 1cm of foam on it. Put it under the boot carpet and under the rear seat. Probably only took me about 30mins to do - cut + install.

I have a dension gateway 300. It does ipod + usb. It has been pretty painful so far (first unit - did not work, second one - would loose connection, third one - ok so far). Not that cheap either.

my winter tyres are 17" and summer ones are 18". there is a small difference. Not worth spending any money on!
