That sounds like a typical OMP cage with the sleaves, clevis connections are what you describe, rubbish idea IMO, you may as well scollap the ends of the CDS and weld directly to the uprights.

You'll be hard pressed to find any bolt in cage that fits perfectly, done 4 cage installs myself 2 of which where OMP ones and they were not straightforward fit but being a welder/fabricator by trade its was easily sorted and had the means to do so.

only one made as a promotional car then reverted back to standard, the removed panels later appeared on RSD's red replica that was doing the rounds a few years ago.
No problem, it might look scary but it isn't when you consider the disc is primarily held into place by the road wheel being clamped onto the hub by the wheel bolts, not solely relying on the bolts acting as dowels to prevent the disc rotating on the hub.
initially ATE discs, when I wore those out I had EBC, both grooved flavour.
drilling them out couldent be easier if you got a spare drive flange to drill through as a guide and a piller drill - enlarge the retaining screw hole to 13mm +, bolt up the flange using 2 bolts then do the other two...
ran 312's on my cordoba, drilled out out to 4 stud and gave them serious abuse, never had an issue in vibration or weakening the disc by drilling 2 extra holes.
Mr Gow and TOCA have made a mistake by their stance over be parity and equivalency between all the different machinery.
Turbo'd NGTC engines are the future and they shouldent be pegging them back, allow NASP Engined cars to enter but its upto them to shut up & step up to the challange, if not...
Having had both engines, and cost and reliability put to one side, if i was goign to have another Ibiza it would be an 8v by the way it drives.
