Sounds very similar to issues experienced with the W177 Mercedes A Class where the camera picks up the 50 or 60 markings on the lorry and thinks it is a road sign displaying the speed limit!
I dont have the advanced driver assistance package on my A250 which I replaced my Cupra with but it does...
Was a lot lower and sleeker looking in the Autocar pictures!
I am sure I read the Cupra logo at the front glows at night so that would explain why it is white and not copper.
Agreed, maybe because mine is the 3 door SC DSG version of the 300 which is no longer available there is a premium for this model on the 2nd hand market.
Would have liked to have kept this car for another year but when I can get a brand new 5 door version on lease lower than my current payment...
Seems like they use a random number generator as I have just received the quote for a 12 month extension on my 300 and reducing the annual mileage and the monthly payment has went up from £298/month to £372/month!
If I was in your position I think I would be engaging one of the Accident Recovery Specialist companies to look after your interests. Third party insurers hate them being involved and usually respond a lot quicker.
Dealt solely with Broker4cars although it was Jennings who were the supplying dealer at the time. Deposit was paid by credit card with balance of deposit to the finance company by banks transfer.
I think the broker fee was around £300 on top of the price of the car, that was back in 2014 so...
I have also used Broker4cars with no issues at all saving around £7K off list price.
Car was delivered to my door with 7 miles on the clock on a flatbed. Driver gave me plenty of time to look around the car and check I was happy. The V5C document came through a couple of weeks later with...
I did notice on my 300 that there is a setting in the menu for Auto-Recirculation for the A/C, it might be this that is causing the misting as it is re-using the moist internal air.
On the 280 the recirculation had to be manually switched on by the button and would usually result in misting...
Went for Monsoon this time as my previous 280 was Black.
Adam at IMG did advise there was a risk of leadtimes increasing if I hesitated over ordering when discussing with him and this wasnt a pressure tactic. Glad I listened to him and very impressed with IMG as they do seem to have their...
More info for the spreadsheet if it is still going:-
Cupra SC 300 DSG

So just under 16 weeks if my maths is right. Hats off to IMG SEAT as my local dealer were quoting 24 weeks.
Will be switching from an "owned" to a "leased" Cupra soon and just wondered if this will affect my insurance in any way?
Am I still classed as the owner as well as the registered keeper or do I need to state it is owned by the lease company?
This is the first time I have went down the...
I went from a remapped 2010 FL Mk2 Cupra with about 300bhp to a stock Cupra 280 and the Mk3 is a definite step up in most ways (prefer the seats in the Mk2 over the standard Mk3 though).
Realistically the Mk3 will likely be about 300bhp anyway and in a lighter chassis so you wont feel like you...
I have dealt with Fife SEAT in Glenrothes and although I didnt buy from them in the end the sales guy was really good and did work hard to put together a good deal but couldnt match the online brokers deals at the time.
I use them for all my servicing/warranty work on my Leon Cupra and my...
