Bar Keepers Friend - you'll find it in the supermarket cleaning aisle. It's cheap and brilliant! Or something like Autosol metal polish.

    Chris_a_73's Ibiza Reader's Ride!

It's a Leon Cupra R splitter bought directly from the dealer. At the time it was £25 or so, however I believe it may have gone up since. It's Part Number: 1ML805903

    Chris_a_73's Ibiza Reader's Ride!

If you're referring to the Ibiza splitter, it's a MK1 Leon Cupra from the dealers. Was £20 when I bought it but is now more expensive.

Today I had someone view the car and put down an offer straight away! A deposit has been taken and the car will be picked up next week. I'll be sad to see it go, but it's going to a good family.

    Chris_a_73's Ibiza Reader's Ride!

We do indeed. It hasn't got a huge amount of use due to me and my brother being away from home, so it's just tucked away sadly.

    Chris_a_73's Ibiza Reader's Ride!

I probably will. I'd prefer if my car went to an SCN'er so I can keep an eye on her, to make sure she's being treated alright ;)

    Cupra wishbone bushes

Apply the handbrake, grip a front tyre at the quarter to three position and try to rotate the wheel backwards and forwards. If there is excessive movement, they're worn. http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/107251-how-to-tell-if-front-bushes-are-worn/

    Cupra wishbone bushes

That's a very good quote! I was quoted around £200 for the job, however managed to get a friend who works at Skoda to do it for £50 cash in hand :)

225 tyres for 17" Cupra rims...?

I am on standard 1.2 suspension. Use this tool to check out how much your speedo will be at different speeds. http://www.alloywheels.com/Tyre_Calculator To be fair, it'd only be a 2.72% difference in the speedo reading with 225 (eg: shows 70mph when doing 72mph) so it shouldn't matter too...

225 tyres for 17" Cupra rims...?

I had 225/45/17 from the previous owner and they scrubbed like hell. Why would you want anything other than 205/40/17? A more comfortable ride? You'll end up with an inaccurate speedo..
