  1. Altea Freetrack TDI lowered

Hi Ivan, it's really good to see detailed info on best possible lowering options. Would it be possible for you to confirm ride height at arch tops and some pics would be amazing. I own a 57 plate freetrack tsi and I'm looking to make some alterations. Thanks

  4. Freetrack vs Octavia VRS

Based in derby, it's on bilstein b8s and eibach springs. Sits a little higher on front. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

  6. Freetrack vs Octavia VRS

It's like having a 5 seater MPV ON Adrenaline. 4x4 is awesome. Stage 1 with minimal mods will achieve approx 250bhp, stage 2+ will get you to approx 290bhp. If your not going off road or safari then use mk5 golf gti platform based lowering kit and it will sit low. A set of 18"s finish it off...

  8. Altea freetrack n/s/r door lock part number

Hi Does anyone know the part number for the nsr door locking mechanism, mine is playing up n needs changing. Would like to get a replacement before its stripped down. Trying to avoid dealers, there's plenty on eBay but want to make sure I get the right one. Thanks Sent from my iPhone...
  9. Springs/coilovers

Yep, the freetrack and s3 have a similar platform, hence a lot of parts are interchangeable. I've got front S3 brake set up ready and waiting, but I'm not sure if I want to use them or sell them, exhaust is also similar! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Springs/coilovers

I'm using an aftermarket whiteline arb off an s3 8p. Makes a huge difference on body roll Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Springs/coilovers

Measured from ground, in line of the hub (centre of wheel) up to the bottom of the plastic arch. Rear 650mm front 665mm. I would have loved to have been 655mm all round, but that's life! I think the original tide height was 690/700mm. So an approx 40mm drop without the harshness of H&R springs...
  12. Springs/coilovers

Octavia vrs are decent, not to hard. I will measure my ride height n let u know wat the drop is. Got my set of eBay used £60. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Springs/coilovers

Eddy I did check n the mechanic confirmed they would fit, but I decided to take the cheaper route if just changing the springs. So I used Octavia vrs springs. After install I realised that the drop on the rear is approx 15mm lower than the front. Was slightly disappointed at first but to be...

Longer than me!! I purchased in April, but bought with the intention of Modding straight away, has taken loads of research, but worth it. Far cheaper than an S3 + more space n cheap insurance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. OIl warning light

Your oil pick up pipe may be blocked, get the oil pressure checked, I would avoid dealers!!! If it's slightly blocked your heading towards engine failure!! May just be pressure sensor but you don't want to risk it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
