I did undo the enjine mount and the the bracket from the engine... but, I couldn't get the bracket out of the way.. I tried to lift the engine up and lower it down but I still couldn't get it out... not sure what the limits are for lifting and lowering while its still attached to the other...
yeah - it was my first time. no real problems doing the job..
Was a bit of a fiddly getting the upper cam cover off.. just lack of space really. The other issue I had was afte I removed the enging mount and bracket, I couldn't get the bracket out and just had to wiggle the old cam belt...
Hi,
My 03 Leon Cupra has start to stutter a bit when I start up - especially when its been left over night.
It will hunt a little bit untill it has been running for about 2 mins or so and if I drive off its very jerky. After this, the car drives normal with no probs and boosts to it...
I like it. It sounds not that different to the standard exhaust below 2.5/3k revs, then after that its a nice rumble. Not boomy at all. I drive up and down to Scotland and I didn't want something that would give me a headache. This is just right for me
yeah - its just one of the connections at the back. Although if its never been removed, then nothing should be connected to it. Perhaps there is a short somewhere.
I have VAG COM. Work in Camberley and live in Sandhurst.
I don't know how to code the sat nav but you are welcome to come and use my cable and laptop....
yeah - I am not to worried about it, just a bit annoying thats all. There are other things on the dimmer circuit (gauges, W8 light etc) and none of them flicker - its just the doors and they all flicker together.
Hey all,
I have noticed recently that m dimmer dial is turned up full that all the lights behind the electric window and mirror switches will flash (on all four doors).
It will only do this when the dimmer is up full. If I turn down a little it stops.
I don't think they are going...
I am just away to order a new set of plugs for my car. Do the come already set with the correct gap or do I need to buy a gauge and set the gap myself?
Cheers
