  5. Car back from repair. Gearbox seal?

If its between gearbox/engine and you think it is engine oil the liquid you saw, it's the rear main seal. It is prone to fail due to shitty design. I got the following kit to change it with when I upgrade my clutch. It is supposed to deal with the problem once and for all...
  6. P11A100 fault. Camshaft adjustment actuator fault.

Ok so I managed to find the appropriate engine wiring diagram for me (CJXA), from the workshop manuals that paddy6789 had uploaded. It seems that from fuse panel B and fuse 16 (20A), it goes through J757( engine compartment current supply relay), then goes to N70 (Ignition coil 1 with output...
  7. P11A100 fault. Camshaft adjustment actuator fault.

Hello. Thanks for the answer. Yes I know where the actuators are. No warning light. I found it after random scanning with OBD11 and the dealer also found the same codes after scanning the car, while I had my service done last week. No warranty left and I believe the dealer had no clue as to what...
  8. P11A100 fault. Camshaft adjustment actuator fault.

Hello to all. I noticed recently that I had a camshaft adjustment actuator fault. P11A100 fault. The problem is located on all 8 actuators even after a fresh oil and oil filter change, if its supposed to make any difference. I can clear the faults with obd11 but after a few days they will appear...
  9. Subwoofer for 2019 Leon Cupra

Amazing. The cost for the same parts here in Greece was 150€.
  10. Cupra 300 ST DSG and Haldex servicing

I don't know if someone can consider it a design fault. It gets to the state of less flow, if we can call it like so, gradually. So it adapts to this situation. It can't be sure that after cleaning, it is now in perfect working condition to revert to the previous state, so someone has to tell...
  11. Cupra 300 ST DSG and Haldex servicing

For sure after seeing all the photos around the web, the haldex oil needs change as well cleaning of the pump mesh grill, and of course new o-rings and bolts while cleaning the pump. So either tell him to look the photos and change his mind, or change the "specialist" you are using. When the...
  12. OBDeleven modifications

    Buy an obd extension cable.
  13. Help needed please, I can't remove speaker terminals on Quadlock!

The two extra speakers, center and subwoofer of the SSS, are connected in the pins where two existing speakers already are. With vcds there is a chance that when you tick the correct option for SSS (9VD) that the subwoofer option will appear in the menu. In my cupra 280 that didn't happen. In a...
  14. Help needed please, I can't remove speaker terminals on Quadlock!

Thats not always the case with the sub working properly. Best way to check is when you connect everything is to lift the boot carpet and make sure you don't hear any music coming out from it.
  15. Help needed please, I can't remove speaker terminals on Quadlock!

You are using pin extractors, right? Push the extractors in and try pulling the cable out with a bit more force. Coding with vcp and vcds is needed.
  16. Help needed please, I can't remove speaker terminals on Quadlock!

Patience. It took me 45' to get some of them out for SSS retrofit.

  19. Cupra 300 ST DSG and Haldex servicing

From my understanding the gen 5 haldex (MQB platform) that is is used on the rear axle is also used as a front VAQ in the FWD cars. You perform the same cleaning of the filter of the haldex pump on FWD cars and oil changing. I am unaware though if it also uses the same unit in the front of 4wd...
  20. Paint Lacquer Peeling

The same thing happened to me after having it washed at a local petrol station with a pressure washer.
