My advise would be to source the parts and then visit a VAG Seat specialist to program them to your car. The vag com part is easy its the CAN-BUS 7N0907530AF that is the difficult part.
Look on http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/ it shows you charts to what parts you need, also check the forums...
Got them fitted, Well both front seats with no problems with the rails they just matched perfectly.
The wiring for the airbags I needed to remove the old yellow connectors and put them on the new seats.
The black connectors just fitted so no alterations needed there.
The rear seats the x2 rear...
I see I have looked at the ones I have from a 2013 and they come with the rails as well.
I have measured the rails and they are exactly the same as the ones on my 2007 FR.
So hopefully it is a case of just screwing them into place. "Hopefully"
Cheers
Trust me I have been there and what a waste of money.
The flat bottom steering wheel will fit strait on to a mk2 1P not a problem at all.
The issue is that you have to change the steering wheel module to a version that the flat bottom one was off.
You need to make sure you use a Highline...
Can you please explain as why they will not fit? are they too big are the rails wrong? are the connectors for the seat diffrent? do you know why they do not fit?
You say some do can you be more specific on the "Some"
Many thanks
You said, "5S wont fit / 3C will fit"
How can you say such a staitment as above if you dont know the reasons why.
Without knowing why the staitment is false is it not?
why will a 2013 5s not fit a 5s 2007 yet will fit a 3s does not make sense.
Do you know the exact reason as to why they will not fit?
a 5s 2013 to a 5s 2007
Thanks

just had another replie from JBS saying the following.
I just in a spin on this now.
They have said that the regen process is removed from the ECU not the activation of the sensors. They leave them active and live.
If the content of the DPF ia appearing as 0 then the sensor is active and...
Well JBS have now replied and said I need to replace the pressure sensor as this seems to the what the issue is. Basically unplug and plug a new one been quoted 34.99 "076 906 051A" Exhaust Temp Sensor.
JBS also said I need to use vag-com to measure the soot the sensor is picking up it should...
