It's the boot microswitch that sits in the seat badge. The tip of it wears out over time and stops activating the boot release. Mine is intermittent at the moment. Have a search on good and you will find your not the only people with the issue
I have the exact same car, and find it very firm. Luckily I don't have a baby so can put up with it. Does yours have the 18" wheels? Will eibach springs make much of a difference do people think?
At the end of the day, if you able to do the work yourself then do it. The money you save far out weights having the stamp in the book when you come to sell it.
I have just got back from Daves where i tried to run a VAG COM scan on the Leon.
Im running VCDS-Lite Release 1.0
We were unable to auto scan the car as the 1P Leon was not on the drop down menu for auto scanning, maybe i have an old version??
I then tried to manually scan the control...
snowchains are pointless unless your driving through the alps
They might be good for 100 meteres to get out of your ungritted road but as soon as your on a main road thats hasnt got much snow on it then you will wish you never put them on
