Yup its normal. As Razzario says its to stop sucking exhaust fumes into the car. I think it also speeds up the fan to help demist the side windows so can see in the wing mirrors better.
Whoops! Just realised I had the rubber pad on the wrong way round on the front foot packs which explains why it was pointing down. Much better now I fixed it.
Got my Thule wingbars this weekend and fitted them today. Did anyone else find the instructiong confusing and incorrect with regard to the distance between the footpacks? I found they were both too narrow to fit on and I had to unclip and move them out so they lined up with the rain channels in...
OT but DScape did you find out where the water was coming from? Mine seems to be leaking from somewhere behind the trim on the passenger side.
Back on topic I retrofitted the proper light into my FR. It was pretty easy and only about 30mins work, dont bother buying a panel with the hole its...

Think I may have figured out why you have such poor range on your dipped beam; have you checked the bulbs are in the correct orientation?
Both my dipped beam bulbs blew the other day so I quickly popped the spares in and drove home. On the way home the range of the dipped beam was terrible to...

Id be careful playing with your nuts, you could go blind! But seriously...
I meant to say I replaced the drop links at the same time as I did the coilovers so I doubt its that. It seems to be worse whan I have someone in the passenger seat too.
I fitted Weitech coilovers a few months ago due to my top mount bearings failing and driverside spring snapping. I replaced all the top mounts and bearings at the same time but I still occasionally get the boinging clonking noise of the spring rotating when I turn then wheel, usually only when...
