Hi, I have been offered a standard Freetrack TSI for swap for my Octavia VRS TFSI (Stage 1 remap, B12 Suspension, Uprated RARB etc). and I am tempted ! I do miss 4 wheel drive and just wondered how the drive would compare to the Octavia, a bit softer suspension no doubt but reckon remapped...

Replaced rain sensor gel and auto wipers work much better. Also replaced washer nozzles with Golf MK5 OEM spray ones

Seat Leicester kindly fitted a new revised clutch switch for free and no more overreving between gears. Fitted the silver star bulbs which were a PITA to fit as couldn’t see what I was doing. They are much brighter now. Annoying knock from somewhere when driving low speed, could be engine cover...

Still over reving in between gear changes, buying a Oem clutch switch in case my used one is broke too. Bought some osram silverstar bulbs for dipped beam, 60% brighter, we shall see !

Stuck on some cheap TSI badges and upgraded headlights to Osram Super , 30% brighter apparatly

Replaced clutch switch today with one from a octavia for a fiver and no over revving now between gear changes !

Replaced outside side lights with LEDs. Inner side lights look like a PITA to change. Replaced broken footwell air vent. New go faster green seat sticker. Have sourced TRW upper arms, Eibach Pro Springs and Bilstein B8s for front. Need fitting.. need more bits including updated 034 top...

Oil & Filter change this week. Had diagnostics on error codes which have cleared again. Looks like possibly PCV Valve so will swap that out with R revision. All interior lights been changed to LED 6000 White apart from rears which are disco LEDs baby ! Installed RS4 foot rest to match the RS4...
