I've been a panel beater 16 years lol
The full panel in the pic above will not get fitted,it will be cut and joined at the shortest section or where manufacturer say it should be(have to stick to manufacturer methods now for safety reasons).
An easy way to tell if it's had a quarter panel is...
If the car has had a 1/4 panel fitted the join would more than likely be where the bottom of the green circle line is,at the narrowest point to avoid distortion when welding.
Unless the car was damaged up there aswell you would only go up there to join near the roof.
Wouldn't really have to be a VAG specialist.Any decent bodyshop should have a 4 wheel aligner.
The right rear camber wants sorting first, over a degree out compared with the other side!
Doesn't ask for any of that on the hunter system,it says vehicle unladen, full tank of fuel, just checked at work on our new machine.
They get there figures from the manufacturers.
Usually Vauxhall and bmw who suggest weights in cars
Left to right would alter camber which is what i meant.
Forword and back would alter castor
Get a tape measure and measure from the centre cap on the back wheel to the centre cap on the front wheel, compare the two sides.
They do move but not a lot,if you move it across for one side dont forget ot will move the other side too.Handy if you have one side with too much camber and the other side with too little.
Would deffo recommend a 4 wheel alignment though
4 wheel alignment is best
Theres only 9 minutes difference between the two front wheels on the camber, not that worrying.Be interesting to see a caster readout.Either way the back wants sorting
Rear is adjusted first by top arm(camber) then the lower arm(toe).
Then you move to the front where toe is adjustable.Camber is asjustable but not a lot, basically you have to slacken all the front subframe bolts and lever the subframe over, this will adjust both sides though for camber.
Your probably right.Shame its special order else i could have ordered one through work and sent it back if i didnt want it
Hope they arnt like this

I did a lads at work the other week and that was out on nsf camber and thats lowered.Shouldnt make a difference side to side though.
Depends how much the difference is though,if its only a few minutes(60 minutes in a degree)its not too bad.Usually work off if its more than 30 minutes(half a...
On the top arms on the rear subframe
When its in grey like that it sometimes means the machine doesnt have the spec for the measurement, hence no caster read out
So thats the current measurements, you also have the option on those machines to print before and after measurements.
Right,so theres nearly a degree difference in the rear camber which is adjustable so they should have adjusted it and got the back right before moving onto the front.
So...
Dont forget that price includes the gloss black front grille.(thats how i read it anyway)
Pretty sure they do need programming in,for me its the fact they look like they came from factory like that and not some Halfords special.
