Just heard back from the SEAT dealer in Hatfield and they are saying they can carry out consumption tests on my BOC but if it comes back as within the tollerance levels I will have to pay for the tests......! Nice, thanks for that SEAT My car is currently using about 1L of oil every 1200...

Looks like mine is heading the same way. I haven't had any other problems apart from stupid oil usage. The garage seems to think I need new piston rings at the least, just waiting for a call back from them. These cars.......!

I think everyone that has got a good restult with the splitter has had to heat it and bend it to shape to get the right shape for the bumper. I haven't tried but when they are done right they do look good

Sounds like its excessive to me. I'm keeping a close eye on mine at the moment. Mine uses 1L every 1000 miles which still isn't ideal but don't think the dealers will do anything for me. We all need our own oil reserve with these cars lol

Whatever you do don't wire them up to the dipped beam on the headlights. I did this many years ago and got stopped a fair few times by the police, they weren't too impressed when I had to have side lights only to turn off the fogs!
