Whoever told you that the injector clearance being out will cause the eml to be on is simply talking out of their arse because they probably have either no idea what their talking about or have no idea how to do the setup.
Take it to a decent VAG specialist and they should be able to sort it...
It isn't something that can be checked via the ECU, but is is very easy to check. All then need to do is pull the cam cover off and turn the engine over by hand checking the clearances using a DTI gauge.
It may need the injectors setting up. I've seen a number of these which have had the recall done but the tolerances between the rocker arm for the injector and the top of the injector have been a long way out.
It's normally caused by the 2 prongs in the tank getting covered in crud.
Give them a scrape with a screwdriver and it should be ok, or you can buy a new expansion tank as they're pretty cheap.
If it's the PD engine and had the injector recall it will probably need the injector setup doing properly.
Do you notice any white smoke from the exhaust from cold start?
Scan it for error codes, it should point to which one is causing it. I had to remove my drivers airbag and clean the connections recently and all has been well since :)
If your're fitting an LCR bumper you will need the front guides as well as the rear guides.
The LCR bumper has nowhere to bolt on from the front like the pre-facelift and cupra/FR bumpers.
The part number is 1ML 807 762 for the front and you need 2 of them.
The rear guides are 1M0 807 049E and...
She's not gone yet, the cupra front end has been sold and its back on original suspension but doesn't have an interior :( Hopefully the engine is coming out soon to be put into something else ;)
