Had my car plugged into a obd reader today and got the following code - 17695 control cable boost pressure n249 open circuit. I have seen in the forum a lot of people bypass the n249 valve, would this sort my problem and once removed the code will clear once reset? I have a 53plate LCR bam...

does anyone have a guide on the LCR n249 bypass?

Fitted as in where the intake pipe went it that has now became the out because a friend fitted it backwards(done a complete 180• ) . Reason I ask is because my Car is running really rough on idle and also no boost. I haven't tried putting it back to how it was before it got taken off...

Hi, just wondering if fitting a tx autosport FMIC the opposite way round would cause any damage or are they bi directional? As I've noticedy mechanic has fitted it opposite to what it was and my car is running really rough, lack of boost and very smoky.

I had a friend helping me fit the parts back together and I've just noticed he has fitted the intercooler the opposite way round. Could this be the source of the problem?

If you have fitted a dump valve to it which is not a recirculation one it does it as it did it for me when I owned it.

hi all, does anyone know what the standard ko3 turbo on a mk1 leaon cupra 180 AUQ engine can handle in boost. it is currently boosting at 10psi but i am going to be upping the boost so need a rough estimate of the maximum the turbo can handle cheers guys

i bought some sainsburys super unleaded today for 2p cheaper than my normal unleaded :) car feels more responsive and wants pull but not sure if that is in my head or not.. anyways i will be using super all of the time especially if i get it cheaper then normal unleaded petrolprices.com is good...
