Yeah that was VAT included. I see Darkside do them for ££240 all in but I guess they are a dab hand at changing them by now! Bread and butter work for Diesel tuners I suppose. Bit far to travel for me to save £70 though.

Went to my local garage at the weekend who I use for most stuff and asked for a quote to fit a supplied clutch/flywheel. He pulled up the labour hours on his computer at just shy of 6 hours which equated to about £312! Does that not sound a bit excessive for an independent garage?

I've had a cupra TDi for a bit over a year now. Great little car. Mine had 66,000 miles on it when I got it and the cam belt hadn't been changed so I factored that into the deal and got it done straight after I bought it. I got mine remapped after a couple of months of ownership. Amazing...

Those dual friction ones actually look quite good, and if they are ok to drive and can handle the power of a remap and potentially a hybrid, im tempted to go that way. I would still consider a smf, but they do look a bit expensive from CG motorsport. Just need to find out if a dual friction...

I have had a buckled wheel before, and un-balanced wheels, both of which cause shaking through the steering column at certain speed, but this causes no steering vibration at all, just the car body rolling side to side. Unbalanced wheels dont make you feel sea sick lol!

Got a link to those bulbs? To answer your question, if is so bright it's making the plate unreadable, then yes, but I don't think that would be the case when viewed with an eye as opposed to a camera.

There should be a adjustment knob you can stick a screwdriver in to manually adjust it down to the correct height. I had to do it on one of my lights when I fitted hids.
