Ahh, I'll check that out then. It does only seem to be in 4th 5th and 6th gear when more than half throttle but then again, I can hear my DMF rattle/tick on idle, it seems to quieten down alot when the engine is warm.

Yeah it would get rid of the anti shudder valve mate, apparently the only time you really notice it is when you switch the engine off, there is some engine shudder directly after. Nothing to worry about though. Cheap mod for the aparent difference though.

An EGR Delete kit for £50 quid would more than likley sort the promlem. Ive just ordered one for mine, its supposed to improve the way the car drives also.

Haha, bet your glad about that being the case. Dirtyepic - Ive got the exact same problem, does seem to be the DMF. Not a cheap fix, im just going to wait until it goes completey t**s up before I change it :(

Mine does this also, done it for 3 months now and never really got any worse. Seems to be more noticible when the engine is cold.

Ive got the exact same problem on idle, seems to be extreemley common. I also get a grunting/vibrating noise coming from the engine between 1600-2300rpm in 4th 5th and 6th gear. Ive been told its a possible worn DMF? Any ideas?

This "wizzing"noise you are describing.....I also get this. Its more of a woooing noise, sounds as though the turbo spool is incredibly loud at low revs and changes pitch/volume, only really notice it at low revs though. Very strange! :think:

As above really, im thinking about 16" Ronal Turbos on my lowered Mk4 FR. Wondering if anyone has had them on/know what it will look like etc?

If I have flywheel shudder, how long do I have before the flywheel and clutch give up the ghost? It's now started making the grunting noise on half throttle at about 2000 rpm now.

Yeah, mappers really should tell folk that! My flywheel sounds as though it's on the way out already because when the car is cold and idiling a funny knocking transmission noise comes from the nearside of the engine and when I dip the clutch the noise goes away. How much is it for a new clutch...

Do many other pd130 owners have this problem? It only seems to be in 4th,5th and 6th gear between 1600 and 2200 rpm and only on full throttle or nearly full throttle. Also my turbo whistle sounds incredibly loud on spool up. Help!

The FK AK Streets are not too bad, my mate has them on his Ibiza. Ride is pretty firm but it's the same as most coilover setups. I'm ordering some along with 20mm rear Spacers when I next get paid!
