    Can I ask how bad your idle was? Mine is running rough on idle and upto around half throttle... if I put my foot down it feels fine and boosts hard just idle uneven and dips every 5-10 seconds sometimes worse than others... gonna clean throttle body see if that works just wondering what yours...

    Sorry I should have specified cts been done the other day also which leaves leaks maf coil packs... sure the fuel pump would show more under hard boost coilpacks too? I haven't driven the car for 2 days due to being ill otherwise I'm unplugging the MAF so think I'll get myself down to awesome...

I found that if I put the throttle on maybe half way it does the jump thing... spoke to a very "helpful" vw specialist near me who informed me the only way to find a boost leak is to locate it by listening for it... his words were if you can't hear it then...

    225 lcr oils to be changed??!

    Heard that the best gearbox oil is the stuff from factory... Engine oil I am using 5-30 but changing it back to 5-40 because it seems to be using more oil than before... 5-40 in my opinion is better and was recommended by oilman (opie oils)

    Alright guys :) for a while now my wing mirrors have been hit and miss as to whether they work sometimes they fold in and then out in out... Then the rain came the other day heavy rain for a few days and they stopped working dead... Now every so often they will work for a couple of times...

    She's running rbf600 at the moment was thinking to upgrade to rbf660 but it should be fine for now... I'm just gonna go ahead and get the oem ones for front and then probably get cheapo discs and pads for rears as I heard they don't really do much anyway... Thanks for all replies lads :)

    Cheers for the replies lads I think I'm just gonna go ahead with Sere and bite the bullet... Discs £195 for front pads £118 for front then rears are £88 as a set... On a side note I have 2 other questions... 1) anyone had any experience with seats fixed service? They replace brakes for £295...

    Only brembo euro car parts have are 312mm the LCR has 323mm discs :( was my first place to look... Irf what would you suggest if you don't mind me asking? I need something decent but nothing super expensive to be honest around £300 mark is budget... Could stretch over if needed

    Got a quote from sere... £185 front £73 rear (rear come with pads) front pads £119 total of nearly £400... That's why I'm looking at aftermarket options... I'm not doubting Dave at sere he's a top guy but I can't justify nearly £400 :( plus I like the look of black discs...

    Right well... I think that's solved that problem then... Sorry to be a pain but do you have a link to genuine pads? Don't wanna get stung with shady ones... I saw a whole setup on eBay for £149.99 the dimpled grooved and come with "brembo" pads... Mtec... They're black... Kinda like them
