Great stuff mate looks a real beaut! are these engines pretty tunable ? Seems down tuned for a 1.6 turbo ? Like the corsa VXR there 1.6 turbo and I'm sure there close to 200bhp? Will be watching this mate :)
I told him he's a typical Audi driver lol but he was having non of it, he said my vrs is built from VW spare parts bin haha which I did find funny to be fair! I thought they were the same just wanted some input from the guys on here thanks ! :)
Hi guys got into a in depth discussion with a friend who drives an Audi A1 with the 1.4tfsi 180bhp engine in exactly the same as mine, now the argument was that in my VRS and his A1 I thought the engine and parts were identical with the cars both being VW parts, now he tells me that his A1 are...
Hondas are normally built rock solid my grandad owns a 2002 civic 1.6 vtec and he has never had a problem with it at all! He's owned it from new aswell. Great car
I couldn't agree more mate! I can't wait to move because of all this, I have make sure every night before I go bed that my car and van are both in shot of the rear camera just so if anything happens I can go to the police, all this because I didn't want my littleun breathing in drug smoke lol...
Beat this 1 lol when I used own my boc I fell out with my next door neighbour for smoking drugs in his garden and the smoke was coming through our kitchen window where my littleun was playing. The next day I had a huge penis scribed in the bonnet of the car with a key lol cost me £110 to get it...
Is yours the 1.4 16v non turbo? Trust me mate its a placebo effect you just think it is more responsive I had my car on the dyno with air filter and with performance air filter it made the same every run, and that was my boc, now if you get a decent exhaust then you'll see some gains top end...
any drilled and grooved discs are better than standard obviously, not many people rate mintex but I've always had good quality brakes from them, they arnt as good as brembo but it all depends on how much you are willing spent as decent brake discs range up too £200+ I'd stick with standards as...
I'd go for drilled and grooved standard disc mate with higher temperature pads, I wouldn't go crazy and buy all new brakes, like its been said your car has got the same brake set up on the cupra and on my VRS and they do there job very well in my opinion I've never had brake fade or loss of...
It won't really do much mate probably get 2-3mpg extra but power wise nothing, even the cupras hardly get any gains as I had 1 on my boc didn't make no difference save your money mate
I wouldn't bother mate just get standard brakes and discs they are plenty good enough for a 100bhp car I'd save your money for when your at nurberg because its expensive lol
