quick update people - my door lock has decided to shear and fall to bits, so i have no locks
remote c/l kit is on way, with two repair kits for the doors. (the other one was allways broken)

like what everyone said its all down to rotary polishing. they can be very aggressive if the final polish has been done with to high a speed or with pressure applyed.
if you have a DA polisher then megs finishing compound will do the trick, on a low speed then work it in at a higher one, then...

the damage is a real shame but i intend to correct that. i think when next years insurance come through, the money i save will go on a repairing the dings and dints.
