    New Ibiza 'options'

Yeah, it's Raynauds that I have. That heated wheel is bliss! Oddly enough, when it snows my hands are fine yet touching a rainy car door handle in summer can set it off! I couldn't do without it now.

    New Ibiza 'options'

What I meant was the Cosa's boot space is smaller. VX have had the option of winter pack (heated seats & steering wheel) for about 10 years at least, certainly since 2008. I have a circulation problem that causes my fingers to go white and numb with slight changes in temperature. I certainly get...

    New Ibiza 'options'

I went to my local new car show a few weeks back but unfortunately it was just before New Ibiza was launched. I asked about the possibility of a winter pack bring an option. The sales guy said he thought there would be an option but that even the options in the brochure weren't complete. Anyway...

    TSi Timing Chain Issues?

Actually, now I've thought about it, I remember asking them to look at her before as she revved really high when I turned her on (at something like 3k revs) before dropping right back down to idle. They never found anything (or said they didn't), but hopefully it is logged onto the system that...

1.2TSi - rattle on cold start

Just been searching online about this - I have earlier this afternoon had a conversation with someone who has had their engine replaced because the timing chain shattered in the engine. I am now worried about this as mine has been making a lot of noise on start up - kind of hard to explain, but...

    TSi Timing Chain Issues?

Just been on the phone to my insurance company, and the chap I spoke to commented that he has an Ibiza TSi and they recently had to have a new engine (under warranty) because the timing chain snapped! Now, occasionally mine makes a loud roar on start up just for a few seconds, but it's kind of...

    First MOT tomorrow!

Everything went well - needed new tyres on the front. Service was already paid for by the service plan i signed up for when I bought the car. Seat tried to charge me £122 per tyre - local independant supplier quoted me £109 per tyre fully fitted.

    First MOT tomorrow!

Well, I took them out to be on the safe side. She needed two new tyres to get through the MOT. Damn Island roads are riddled with rough surfaces and potholes. :(

    First MOT tomorrow!

Not been on here in a while, but my car has its first MOT tomorrow! I hope she passes with flying colours. I have Silvatec bulbs in my front indicators - are these likely to cause a fail, or will I be better off putting the original eggy ones back in?

    Reverse Light

I thought so, thank you! Just wanted to make sure!

    Reverse Light

I have had these brighter bulbs for ages now and I love them, but it's MOT day tomorrow - will they cause a fail? Should I put the original ones back in for the test? Thanks in advance guys!

    just bought an ibiza..

Welcome! I also came to a 1.2 tsi from a 58 plate Corsa, also a 1.2. The numbers are where the similarities end - the Corsa was a slug in comparison! I LOVE my little turbo Ibiza and the £30 a year road tax just makes it even better! I've not had a car this punchy since I had my M reg Escort...

    ECP light and limp mode!

It was looked at and a software update carried out. They mentioned something about a pressure sensor. Since I got her back she hasn't felt 'right', as in not so responsive and a little sluggish, but no lights have come on. I even managed to stall when using hill hold assist as she didn't...

Seat ibiza 1.2tsi FR epc and emission fault lights any help?

When my car was returned to me I asked if there was any paperwork to go with it and was told that I could have a copy of what was sent to the warranty dept forwarded to me. I thought it would be useful to share on here, but I also like to keep a record of anything that is done to my car. On...

Seat ibiza 1.2tsi FR epc and emission fault lights any help?

Yeah, they just got back to me - the ECU needed reprogramming and it was a problem with the pressure sensor thingy - sounds like the same as yours. I can't remember exactly what they said though, and I am not very technically minded! They said they have road tested it several times, but I...

Seat ibiza 1.2tsi FR epc and emission fault lights any help?

Mine has done this a few times in the last couple of weeks. She's in the garage as I type being looked at! I think others have had this issue too. Here's a link to a thread from the end of last year. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=370263 Usually turning off and on again...

    1.2Tsi "breakdown"...shock!

Mine has been doing this too - also a 2011 1.2TSI Sport. I have searched the site but found nothing, until TTX pointed me to this thread. The first time mine went wrong was 2 weeks ago - the EPC light came on and it went into limp mode. It's the first time I've had anything go wrong with a...

    ECP light and limp mode!

Well, the car behaved herself today and got me to work and back without showing me any lights at all! Be interesting to see if the dealers can find anything wrong tomorrow.
