Well typically its approaching Christmas and when moneys tight someone has decided to drive into the back of me whilst in a car park.
Its going to have to be resprayed as the paints all chipped and scratched. Ill post picture below.
Just want a general price I could except to pay for a rear...
Yeh as James said its a cupra r splitter. I used self tapping screws. Taped it into position first and made sure it was central then screwed it into place.
Couldn't tell you the exact drop as its coilovers. On the rear am at the maximum I can go without taking the adjuster out and at the front I've just levelled it out so the cars sat level. Am using 10mm spacers on front and 20mm on rear.
Got pro sports fitted on my LC. New drop links weren't needed however if you slam it then yes you will get rubbing. Had mine on its arse for a day and it was a nightmare raised it up slightly and have no problems now.
Not cleaning today but will be in next few days. Snow foam with maxi suds 2 then give it a quick clay if its needed. Maguires ultimate compound followed by poor boys black hole then to protect it I use collinite 915 wax. Tyre wax with Maguires endurance high gloss tyre gel.
Finished the gauge now and it looks good. I'll add a few picture below. Wired it first into the headlights but soon realised it was like Blackpool illuminations in my car at night so rewired it to the dimmer switch and its resolved that problem, just has to have the back light on all time which...
Am running Nankangs NS2's I read loads of mixed reviews before I got them but for the price I gave them ago. In dry there good but in the wet they are terrible, they seem to last a long time too which Is what I like in a tyre.
Any body who wanting to know how to wire the gauge up with just a live and earth. I used the purple and grey wire for live and brown is negative. Works just fine I'll post some pictures when I've got my custom vent pod all complete.
Yeh going to the centre airvent to be abit different ha. Just making a housing to hold the gauge in the vent at moment a bit more tricky than I thought it would be.
Was just off eBay and only has the two wires unlike alot of the threads on here which have 3. Not too fussed if its lit up all the time but would be nice so it only lit up when I turned on my lights. It has a white face so during day its easy to see.
Found one of these in my tool box never even new I had it. Looks like it lights up when on a live connection. Could I just use that to see which wire goes live when the light switch is on ?
Got a boost gauge and it only has the black and red wires. Just don't no where the black and red wires go in the back of the light switch. Anyone shed ant light on where to correctly wire it up.
Just done a scan and i got the code 16795 which is the Secondary Air Injection system incorrect flow. Did find this on one of the pipes. there is a slight crack in the bend and has some oil like residue in the pipe.
