So after a huge amount of searching on-line with the radio serial number to try and get the unlock code I simply had to take Big rich's advice and book it in with seat. They quoted me 16 quid so after a look under the ashtray and in the glove box for any form of sticker I handed in my keys...
hmmmm this is a pickle.
I never actually got a handbook with this car as I bought it second hand.(previous owner must have lost it)[:@]
Will i be able to find the code for my specific car anywhere on the net or what would you advise as the best option?
I have just completed the evry mod on my 2001 tdi 90 and the car is showing no fault lights.
However, when i went to turn on the radio the following is displayed.

Hey all.
As per title really.
I've just watched a video on youtube of an american guy (Left hand drive) feeding wires straight into his engine bay with no need to take off the wipers and the surrounding plastic.
Is this possible on a right hand drive car and if so can anyone show me...
My car is only a 90bhp so i lowered it only for the stance and not for performance. Sits well and being a student i thought the saving was well worth it. Comes down to personal preferance in the end like everything else though i suppose.
I've got JOM's on my tdi leon and can't fault them. I use them for everyday driving around town and very rough back roads and they are holding up just fine. I've lowered it pretty nicely with no need for the drop links but it seems you can just hit lucky with this. Not sure how this transpires...
Hi. Im just curios. My tdi is an ALH. Does this mean it is 90bhp and does you know if it is PD. Furthermore what is the main difference in PD and "not PD":P. Sorry, still new to tdi's.haha
Hi guys.
Just a quick question regarding the installation of the bulbs.
When you purchase a HID kit the bulbs are contained within a plastic cover. This has a top half and a bottom half which screw into each other. The top half can be screwed out and removed but the bottom threaded piece...
its must be ak. I had it out and gave it the once over (well the limited things i could do, check solder etc) but i may just get a new one. Strange one tho. Didn't know it was so common but hey learn something everyday.
To ebay.(after work)lol
yeah thats what i was expecting too but as you can see from my pic its not happening:cry:lol
nothing happens during the first pullout stage and the orange comes on when i pull it out another click
really confusing.lol
yea thats what i thought gac. I mean the little front fog symbol is there and is red with the back lighting but thats it.lol
Another thing i noticed is that i could only find one fuse for fog lights. The symbol happened to be the same as the rear fog light symbol? There was none of the symbol...
Is that because i have uploaded it wrong or is it maybe just your comp?(for future ref). I can see it ok tho:confused:
But yeah basically the green light doesnt come on but the orange one does. Could it be possible that there are different switches for cars with fogs and cars without...
Hey everyone,
I've asked this question before but still cant come to the source of the problem.
Basically my front fog lights dont turn on at all.
I have changed the bulbs and fuse to no avail.
I noticed that one of the small LED's didn't illuminate when i pull the light switch out...
