all electric mirrors are heated aren't they? certainly all power folding electric mirrors are heated but some people buy standard glass when they get broken as the heated ones are twice the price.
you can't map out egr, only turn it right down. removing it is always better than turning it down as the race pipe has no restrictions and the egr pipe closes up a fair bit.
why on earth would we need to know this out of interest? I've had them calipers or years and it's never even crossed my mind what size the pistons are.
my brother has a PD160 Ibiza with a gtb2260vk on it running low power due to needing a new head but still running 225bhp and he gets 29-30mpg kicking the crap out of it and easy 50+ getting near 60mpg when driving like miss daisy.
and this is the old 1.9PD
how many cars on here had sun strips as standard? I know my 11 year old skoda did, it was green as standard and when I had my windscreen replaced I had the option of green or grey, I went for grey.
show me a car uk from the last 10 years that didn't have factory tinted windows......................
in fact you could possibly extend that for a few more years.
any non-standard lighting
badges that don't match the cars spec/trim
fake carbon
stupid little mirrors
any aftermarket chrome parts, in fact any chrome that wasn't fitted as part of the standard spec
shopping lists on the side of a car
putting your name on the car anywhere

your mods will lower the value and make most punters walk away without even looking, best bet is to return to standard and sell the upgrades seperately. much easier to sell and make a lot more money.

its a funny...
a nice simple solution to making the mk1 haldex locked all the time without the need for a compatible ecu, as I said earlier though it still won't make the haldex engage when stood still so you're still going to need a small amount of movement for it to engage so when launching etc the fronts...
mk1 haldex cannot be proper permanent 4WD as it requires movement to lock but i believe there are standalone controllers out there that can make it 4wd all the time when moving.
the mk1 haldex with standard controller only puts power to the rear when there is 15 degrees of slip on the front wheels i believe, the blue(upgraded) controller cuts in earlier as it will cut in when WOT below certain speeds whilst putting more power to the rear and more aggressively, it makes...
just gonna keep looking out for cheap ones and if people still want stupid money then i'd rather buy new be it originals or nice pattern parts. i'm not paying £600+ to get 10 year old, split, cracked and warped plastic bumper skins onto this car.
I've got a mk1 cupra and want cupra R bumpers as A)mine are shot and B)the standard ones look cack.
one question though, why are they so god damned expensive!!
looking on the bay people are wanting £300+ for used and sometimes 10 year old front bumpers FFS!!! then another £150 for the...
