Thanks for that mate, I'll be sure to look at the bolt sizes and will source spigot rings etc. if required. I've purchased aftermarket alloys many times without any issues, but thanks for the heads up.
Thanks for that mate I forgot about how the weights may affect things with limited clearance, I think I'm swaying more to 18s as it'll future proof myself if I do go for a BBK in future - I've seen some nice setups running on 18s.
Back in the leon stable again after going to the dark side for a while. The car has a few mods done already, but plan on doing more when funds allow. My previous car can be found in the readers ride section, this will be a longer project as children aren't cheap
Hi guys, back again with another cupra :) apparently putting the baby on the roof of the 370z was not an option.
I've been looking into getting some winter wheels and was wondering what you guys are using? I'm thinking of going down to 18s but was curious to know if anyone has went down...
You're using the same setup that I used on my 280dsg. I also used VBT discs as the OEM discs ran out of life. I had no issues at all with the DS2500 pads, which goes against what you see sometimes on the forum and on the facebook groups, the only thing I noticed was an increase in dusting and...
Sadly I sold the car a few months back to start a new project, I've gained so much knowledge about the various platforms over the years and I hope this forum continues to go from strength to strength. I hope the new owner enjoys the car and continues to maintain it to a high standard.
Haven't had much time to get posting anything up lately due to trying to prepare for Worthersee, so here's how the car looks at the minute.
The seats have finally been fitted to the car and I've also went back up to 19's and purchased some BBS CI-R alloys, they're pretty much the same as the SR...
Cupras with the bucket seats will have the heater function. Cupras without the bucketseats will have heated seats if they were equipped with the winter pack. My car has the standard full-leather seats and they are heated.
If it's something of interest, I'll be taking these seats out in the...
I never did it on my old FR so maybe they do, you could email awesome gti and ask them if the cupra brakes fit with the standard rear caliper.
Best to double check and then get the right one without risking it as you say :)
Guessing 255mm mate, use this as a reference:

Cupra brakes are 310mm at the back, I believe they use a different caliper.
