Reason I'm posting this is that I'm having issues with the front seats in my 2018 Cupra 300. When i 1st got the car i did think they were "underwhelming" in terms of support for the type of car it is, and i noticed that i feel like I'm sat at a slightly odd angle somehow, but other than that...
take it that's conti 6's though?
Been looking about a bit at lower mount inserts and tbh it's confused me even more as some seem to do just the lower mount in poly or ally, but then I saw a fella on youtube who got the APR insert for a mk7 golf R and hes said that the ally inserts are known to...
Is this the right mount insert or am I looking at the wrong thing?

Not sure if it's something i'd tackle on my own, or whether i'd get a specialist to do it though!?
Cool, was looking for confirmation that the side blades do indeed fit the facelift 3dr models!:coolthumb
I do think the car's need a little something more (sideskirts/Front splitter) as there a little too tame looking in standard trim.
Glad I've seen this as I've had pretty bad wheel hop twice today (ok it is sopping wet, and I was slightly poking it with a stick to see how it would cope too), but I know it's something I do want to reduce if possible as one of the instances was when I was trying to nip out onto a roundabout...
Hope you guys don't mind if I resurrect this topic and ask if the above torque figures for the wheel nuts is the same for my Cupra 300 with the 19's on??
Only just got the car yesterday, but I want to take the wheels off at some point to clean and seal the alloys and I want the proper torque...
Hardly surprising is it!
I would have thought that the MKIII wouldn't have had such an effect on the sportier versions of the MKII's, but it has seemingly!
Like I say though i'm in no rush to do anything and it'd be no issue to me if the car didn't sell tbh, it'd just mean saving for...
I've seen another R on PH with somet like 70Kmiles on (Dealer btw) ad there asking £13.5k iirc, and that's a boggo standard car, even though I understand mods put some folk off!!
Yeah I know what ya saying there!!
A mate o mine ( a good few years ago now!) sold his Nova SR (admittedly it was MINT) to a fella he knew who wanted one & knew how good this one was for £4k which was a VERY high asking price for those at the time!!
Like you say it only takes that one...
Yeah I tried looking on webuyanycar.com and they came back with £10600!!
They can swing for that!!!!
Ahh well I might just try a cheeky add on PH as I'm not in any rush to sell and if it goes it goes!!, if not I'll hang on to it longer and PX it down the line!!
I'm currently contemplating selling my R and looking at either Golf R's or an S3 and am just wondering what is the right kinda money to be expecting (thinking around £15k myself)
Fyi it's a Chrono yellow 2010 LCR
Milltek TB system with sportcat.
Nuepseed P/flo induction.
Aero skirts.
H&R...
Do you mean you have an annoying rattle coming from the glovebox??
If so look at the bracket inside the lid, mine has started to rattle recently and its that - the screws that hold it in place have come loose that's all!!
I bought a brand new set of the 19" alloys to replace the ones I had on mine due to stone chips etc, and then retro fitted mud flaps after too, they deffo do help with protecting the rears - but the fronts are still prone to picking up chips as I can testify to!!
New wheels are now just...
I'm gonna get my G/box oil level checked and see if it's low, Going down south next month on holiday for a week and will be racking up quite a few miles so best safe than sorry, also going to get the oil & filter swapped as part of a mid-year oil service.
Hopefully will be bale to get it...
I hear a very slight "wine" from mine at low speeds in 1st mainly when setting off, sounds like a very slight bit of transmission wine to me.
Dunno if it's normal or not but I'm not overly worried as you can barely hear it!
