I just went for an uprated friction plate and standard pressure plate along with a dual mass flywheel since I was only getting a stage 1 map which came in at under £600 fitted. Mine is a tdi btw, not sure what the petrol lads do.
Just wish the waiting time for the golf was less, can't wait to...
I've had my Cupra 9 1/2 years so that says it all really. Bushes aren't a problem for Cupras since they are solid. I have the rusty wheel arch problem which seems to have only affected 54 plate cars. Clutches are weak but only when remapped.
Mine will be up for sale when my Golf R arrives in...
I have a 54 plate cupra with 121k and I think it would get £2500 tops in good condition. Some advertisers on ebay and autotrader are dreaming.
Putting mine up for sale next year when I order my new car

M12 multispline also known as a triple-square. Use the correct tool otherwise it'll knacker the nut.
Do you have the part number for the stalk assembly? Looking to do this myself very soon. Also, where did you get the wiring harness from?
Check that the selector arm on top of the gearbox is actually operating the gearbox. I've had to replace mine twice now. The arm is made of monkey metal and wears over time until the splines no longer turn the selector shaft
