I had a Bluefin map on my previous Mk. 2 Leon. It worked really well with a noticeable difference in performance. No issues for the duration of the time I owned the car.
My 184 FR burns oil. I check it every month or so and top up as needed. The low oil level cam on once a few years ago - I topped it up and no issues since.
Most diesels I've had burn oil - Leon's seem to be no exception!
I have a 184 ST DSG with some mods....
REVO stage 1 map (181hp to ~230hp):

I have the older 6 speed 'box, The map was put on in 2018 and has run flawlessly since then. Can't say how the 7-speed would perform...
I have an FR 184 ST Dsg. It's 5 years old.
Recently in the last two weeks I've noticed that the fans seem to be coming on once the ignition has been switched off even after short journeys. This happens nearly every time.
I'm aware the default response here is "DPF regen" but I don't think this...
We have an FR 184 (diesel) and an FR 148 ACT (petrol) in our household. They're both on Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. I've spent a lot of time in both.
In terms of handling, the diesel feels notably heavier up front, and if pushed will understeer sooner. The FR148 feels lighter and grips much...
REVO Stage 1 on my 184 DSG. Been in place for 2+ years without incident. Not a lot of difference in off-the-line pace, but in-gear acceleration is notable better 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
Drives very smoothly as per the stock. No difference in fuel economy (it was always poor!)...
MatTheMerciless I agree. The OEM tyres had little grip, especially as they wore down.
I'm now running Michelin Pilot Sport 4 which are excellent in comparison.
Had my 184 FR ST (DSG) remapped a year ago. I had the REVO stage one map installed by an official REVO franchise:
https://www.onlyrevo.com/product-details/software/seat/leon-mk3-2012-/200/stage-1
Their figures suggest the remap makes around 214-233bhp, though I've not had the car dyno'd.
There...
Got mine from Aliexpress:

Stick on type, but no problems with them in the year I've had them. Look great too.
Cost about £8 and took 10 days...
How much would you expect to pay for a 4 year service on a SEAT Leon 184 ST? This would include the DSG oil change. I've also been advised that the brake fluid may need changing.
Any recommendations for a Portsmouth / Hampshire based workshop?
SEAT Leon 184 ST (DSG) here. Beautifully smooth engine with lots of torque. This is most noticeable in second or third gears where the pickup is quite something. Terrible fuel economy for a diesel (mid to low 40's).
I have a REVO remap taking it to ~230hp. Car still drives very smoothly. Other...
My 184 is rattling from the phone / storage tray under the heading / AC controls and it's driving me insane. There's nothing in the tray and the rattle seems to be coming from somewhere behind / underneath it. Anyone else had this and been able to cure it?
I ordered some this afternoon. How long did your take to arrive?
