You put the tester on your TIP, you lock it using a hose clamp. Put a compressor on it with no more than 1 bar. And you start listening if you hear any hissing. If you do, you locate the hissing which is probably a leak. change te hose, and restart. Untill you hear no more hiss

On your turbo intake pipe

Tip gets you approx 10 hp..
