Fitted rear yellow stuff brake pads. Raised coilvers to stop some horribly clunking when driving. Also noticed it steers like a drunk man. What is wrong with my car? It feels like it has no ARB and will almost tip over when turning.
I had a gearbox guy come round and confirm the gearbox has had it.
I was looking at getting another car but don't really want to fork out loads of cash plus I've really looked after this car (apart from giving her a hard time) in terms of servicing etc -- I think i'm going to go for a second...
Had to get towed home this morning.
I got to a round about took it out of one gear to put into another and it wouldn't go. No gears were selectable but reverse went in and I managed (seemed like clutch was struggling) to get it back about 20 yards into a layby.
So even though the car is...
I'm guessing a coil pack has gone. Had a similar issue where when I gave it the beans it gave me a yellow light and a cough. I got a used set of 4 off ebay for £60 and sorted the problem. Of course it could be something completely different... but just my 2pence worth.

Bought a used (70k ish) set of springs and dampers to replace my 150k parts - off eBay for £1.99 - Turns out it's another member. Thanks Andy3004 :D
Cleaned and waxed.
Its not easy. Wrapping is a skill that has to be learned. I went on a cheap 1 day course then tried to do my bonnet with cheap ebay wrap. I failed and so did the vinyl. Hexis or 3m are good brands. I have 2m of hexis for a second attempt on bonnet when weather is good. Good luck

Recently hit 140,000 on the clock so got the timing belt and water pump changed today for £410 all in... then quoted for additional work for bushes all round (shagged) and rectify leak from cam? comes to a nice £857.02 .... not sure if I can justify that but we'll see how she goes.. plus I quite...
Broke the rear tailgate interior plastic trying to do the rear wiper bung mod - gave up after bruising my hand to bits and made the assumption is all held together with superglue.
There's no trick. They're just shite. Once you do get them in, you'll want to screw them in because they will come off when you're driving along happily.
