  1. Fabia 1.2 2005 1.8t conversion.

Alternatively they could buy a scrapped (CAT C or D) Ibiza 1.8T FR and transfer all that across, know a few that have done this. Best place to check this would be the Briskoda forums under their projects section.
  2. Mileage to high to start modifying?

Coin toss to be honest, you're normally better off buying one already done and then add to individualise it. The Seat Sport intercooler are now old hat so you'd be looking at the Darkside Developments or THS ones. Main limitation will then be the turbo, Xman on Briskoda forums does good deals if...
  3. Turbo gone - Need help!

Speak to him, via the forums is best mate. I think I have his email address somewhere too. He can do standards or a very mild hybrid for the same money I believe. Or at worst case look for a second hand unit from Briskoda, more active parts forum than here, that would be the cheapest option...
  4. Turbo gone - Need help!

I'd get a price from Xman on forums, Briskoda, he does them at a very reasonable rate rather than new from Seat or second hand unit where you don't know it's history.
  5. Newbie help on cupra pd 160s

I'd recommend having a look at Badgers car, has lots of power and has been completed on a budget. As for the FR v Cupra debate opinions vary, you pay more for the Cupra but you do get some nice extras. Only you can really answer whether they're worth it or not as you'll be the one paying. Have a...
  6. banging on passenger side

I'm looking at this on mine and the current opinion, view, is that the drop links are hitting on the driveshaft.. Now whether this is true on yours or not I cannot say, but that's the route I'm going down now to resolve on mine. ARB bushes are next on the list, anyway, but that's also possible...
  7. Looking advice on mods

But more importantly any wheel wobble whilst driving at various speeds?
  8. 16" Centre Caps?

There appears to be a few contenders on fleabay... http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=seat+ibiza+centre+caps+mk4+sport&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xseat+ibiza+centre+caps&_nkw=seat+ibiza+centre+caps&_sacat=0 I haven't looked through them all cba. but...
  9. 16" Centre Caps?

Fleabay is probably your best bet.
  10. Replacing front bottom ball joint

    Great link thanks for that!
  11. Spacers

Should be hubcentric as well no?
  12. Upgrade front brake kits...

Personally I'd avoid the AP Racing versions, heard you have to ensure they're fully reconditioned and a small part can jam on it. I'd not have any problem with the 312mm set, best to check Briskoda forums as you can see sets on there go for £120 roughly. You can paint, or get other half, to...
  13. Antiroll bushes

Think you find they do as most parts are interchangeable with them, let us know for sure though.
  14. Antiroll bushes

Interested in this fix too as I have something similar, although mine is on coilys so shouldn't be the damper. I'm doing the ARB bushes next too.
  15. Electrical Gremlins?

Search for hot start issues .... I can't remember what mine was a short while back but every time I'd drive for say 30mins and stopped I had trouble starting it again. I'll dig up some receipts but I don't think it was anything too major. You could also have some sort of short circuit in your...
  16. Possible clutch problem

It could also be the gear selector arm. Common problem on Caddy's and mine is making a similar noise, if changeover feels that bit looser it could be the above.
  17. Speedo Issue - Seat ibiza mk4 1.9 TDI

Aye clock issue, I went for the FR clocks myself just have to get them coded to your car if you do.
  18. Power steering pump

Sorry mate never tried, or wanted to tbh. I once had mine go, had to get new unit, and when it wasn't working it was near impossible to turn the steering wheel. I wouldn't advise it.
  19. fr/cupra insurance queiry

Is that with Adrian Flux Badger?
  20. Another Blown Turbo Thread

Also Xman does a reasonable price for a turbo, or alternatively source a decent second hand unit. As Badger says any VAG specialist will fit it for WAY less than Seat.
