Ok so I cleaned the throttle body and it made no difference at all, surprisingly wasn't that mucky but never the less back to the drawing board. Had a power steering pipe blow today above the drivers side wishbone so have to check that out over the weekend - fingers crossed its a simple fix...

Well cv joint changed and it's solved, not sure why it was making that noise as there was no split in the boot and there was plenty of grease in there... Must have just worn itself out :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The outer cv boot is fine, I've got a cv joint kit here waiting to put it on once I get the clamping pliers hopefully tomorrow and then I shall fill you all in :) if gets crossed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
