Ok so I cleaned the throttle body and it made no difference at all, surprisingly wasn't that mucky but never the less back to the drawing board.
Had a power steering pipe blow today above the drivers side wishbone so have to check that out over the weekend - fingers crossed its a simple fix...
Ok so now I've hit a big problem then. I don't have access to vcds :(
If it is a cool pack il be sending them back as I've not long just bought them :/
Il have to see if my mates got vcds - he's an mot tester at Halfords auto centre so I'm sure they will have something along the lines of vcds...

Scotty1310 thanks for the input that's pretty much what was going on with mine however I think I've narrowed it down to a boost leak somewhere and il explain my theory -
if I start it up it idles a little high when it starts but only for 2 secs and then drops to normal, if I pull away it again...

Everything has been looked at, the ecu, the maps been taken off and put back to stock the -5.5% was me worrying as it wasn't moving however the other comments I put where at the stage of it being back in the tuners to get looked at.

Hi all I have a problem which is P**sing me off, I bought a cv joint kit and replaced the near side one and after torquing the nut up it still came loose.
I then tightened it up again with a new nut and places the old but on as a extra safe measure but the whole thing snapped clean off the...
Well it turns out it isn't fixed after all :( I changed the cv boot and tightened up to the specs on auto-data and it was solved "for the time being" been fine for a week and tonight I can hear it coming back and it's pissing me off lol the nut they sent me with the cv joint looked up to as much...
Well cv joint changed and it's solved, not sure why it was making that noise as there was no split in the boot and there was plenty of grease in there... Must have just worn itself out :)

The outer cv boot is fine, I've got a cv joint kit here waiting to put it on once I get the clamping pliers hopefully tomorrow and then I shall fill you all in :) if gets crossed
