Hi Guys
I have an issue with the center Console of my FR. The set type pressure button has fallen through into the console and now I can't retrieve it. Does anyone know how to take up the center Console by where the Traction control button and cigarette lighter port is.
I can post pictures if...
Hi Guys and Gals
After 7 almost 7 years of driving the FR diesel I'm looking to upgrade to the Cupra 290 but would like some information regarding what they're like daily to drive, and what kind of upgrades people have done, and experience with faults etc...!
Anything is appreciated.
Don't!
I'd just reiterate what the last guys have said. Spending that little on a kit isn't a good idea, and to be honest I don't even see the point of getting a dual mass conversion (as that what it sounds like). Running a standard car I'd just get a decent DMF from Seat. Some garages are...
Hi Guys
I'm looking at getting some new alloys for my CR 170 TDi.
I've looked at the specs for my standard ones which are ET54 7j
What wheels and what offsets are people using, I'm wondering if you guys have had to get your arches rolled to make them fit?
I'm interested in the Sparco...
I've got the KW V1, bought it from Awesome as part of the 25% off Spring Sale to fit on my cr 170 TDI! It's the 1st set of coilovers that i've got but i'm really happy with the ride! I've set them as low as they will go which gives it a nice look and it still is practical only having to slow...
I'm not sure with a diesel you'll notice a difference in exhaust note. I've got the Milltek cat-back system and the DPF delete pipe on my cr170 and it sounds nice under load and nice and subtle on normal driving! Before I got my DPF delete the exhaust note was unchanged, so if your looking for a...
Firstly what kind of use does your car get, do you do short city drives or long motorway slogs?
I've never heard of the DPF makinging noises, but if it was the DPF regenerating after about 20 minutes drive with the engine revving at about 2500 - 3000 rpm it should clear i'd have thought.
I was skeptical at 1st but someone from work had a Toyota Yaris, I think it was like a 1.3 or something. It had a few problems with it and was running really poor, but the mechanic recommended terraclean and it worked a treat on his fixing all the problems and improving general engine...
Hi guys
I'm interested in getting my Leon TDi Terracleaned. It's a '59 Leon FR 2.0 CR. I've heard good things about it and as my car has done around 95k miles I'm thinking it'll be beneficial, I'm wondering if anyone has done it to theirs regardless of engine type.
I've had mine since Sept 09 and have never had any issues with the DPF, I never even noticed regen and neither have I had any issues with it at all to be honest mate. It did about 10 - 15 000 miles on stage 1 as well witt the DPF still there and still noticed no issues But had the delete pipe...
I guess it is quite possible that the manifold might have been damaged, that would explain why it does it when stationary. I'd get a a good check done on your car and all the mounts as soon as possible so that it dosn't land you a hefty bill in future. Theres a shock absorber for the torque in...
Oh okay that sounds fair enough. I'll get the VAG specialist guys to check it out anyway but do you mean something like this?

Whats the benefit to SMF vs DMF? Know the...
Well that's the thing if i'm on boost already there's no vibrations or anything. I've been for a drive with as mechanic and he didn't mention the DMF and he's a decent.
