Hi all Can someone in and around MK be able to help reset the air bag light as I disconnected the cable under the seat by mistake. I should of done the seat belt wire instead due to it going off on hot days! It’s the wife’s Altea 2008 petrol. Thanks in advance Paul

what have you done to your car today ?

Bang on, I put mine on for longevity rather than performance, by never needing to replace it. I did tell the insurance, as we all know if you have an accident they find any way possible to wrangle out of it!

buying a Leon TDI - advice needed

Agree with what's been said previously, in regards the mileage. However I would point out that, although it's low miles on the engine it's the components that also take a beating. I bought mine on 77k, and have had to replace the alternator, gearbox bearings, and countless suspension parts over...

what have you done to your car today ?

Sounds very tempting, I have replaced both intercooler pipes with a set of Forge silicones and they were a very tight fit, and thus far holding very well with no leaks.

I see you have a Revo map, how's it been for you in terms of performance? More importantly did you need to replace the clutch? Been toying with idea to get done in March, but the clutch worry is making me think twice!

what have you done to your car today ?

Just got my car back today after having two large dents repaired that occurred when I was parked up at work. No details left from the persons responsible, so decided to foot the bill rather than claim on the insurance, additionally had the wheels refurbished in shadow chrome. Total bill £740 ouch!

what have you done to your car today ?

I was an unfortunate one, I had to get mine reconditioned last year due to bearings failing, and been tempted to do the O2M mod. But as always, struggle to find the time!

NP mate Just keep an eye on it, if you get the high pitch noise then get it done. Best describe the noise as like a distant police siren although could be mistaken for the turbo failure noise!!

Took my car in for gearbox bearings replacement, sounded like the gearbox was rattling and crunching in all gears and idle. Now sounds perfect again, just the tractor engine noise!

Odd request as thinking of getting an Ibiza

Thx very much for all your help, I figure if she removes the parcel shelf and angle it upwards, it will only stick up about 10cm. Or just drop a rear seat and put in vertically, job done! She really is not keen on the Leon size car lol. Paul

Odd request as thinking of getting an Ibiza

Hi all I am trying to persuade the wife to buy an Ibiza as its not as common as a Fiesta! But she is concerned about boot space for our buggy/pram. The pram folded down is 105cm in length, so its a tight fit in the Leon. I don't suppose any of know the width of the boot interior from wheel...
