  1. 24h Time

It's actually a little shocking that XenForo doesn't have the capability for this to be a user-selectable preference.
  2. Need help with Maxidot coding through VCDS

VCDS keeps a log of all coding done that contains the before and after coding. You can use that to restore the original coding of the module. \Ross-Tech\VCDS\Debug\CodingLog.csv Find the module's original coding in the file and copy & paste it into VCDS. edit: I just re-read your post and...
  3. Do DCC shocks require coding?

This doesn't mean they are identical though. The aftermarket ones are likely to be a generic configuration to be broadly suitable across a range of several models which may have specific individual configurations from the factory.
  4. Is Tyre Rotation front to back a good idea?

I challenge you to post one authoritative source for that. Just sounds like internet nonsense to me. I am deeply sceptical that the manufacturer gives a recommendation that would effectively mean if the tyres were more than one third worn then all 4 tyres must be replaced if you got an...
  5. PR Codes from VIN

Yeah it was a VW Group change to erWin in March '23. All brands are affected. You'll need to get it from someone who has a repairer account if Seat customer services can't / won't give it to you.
  6. Replacement lock only unlocks after four keyfob presses...

If a wiring fault has been eliminated as a possibility then it is either not the correct lock for the car or it is faulty. Either way, replacement is the correct solution.
  7. Light error codes help

Ideally you want the BCM coded to turn off bulb monitoring on the rear light channels. Because the tick lights are LED they are not drawing enough current to register as correctly functioning bulbs. Not many aftermarket tools have the right coding options for this. VCP can do it but I'm not sure...
  8. Heated seats mising from FR model

Where have you got the spec info from? My understanding is that heated mirrors were standard on the FR but not heated seats. They were an option but only as part of the winter pack. Paddles also an option on the FR I believe. Refunds due to missing equipment would only have been offered to...
  9. Fuel consumption suddenly increases

What engine do you have? If it's a diesel it could just be the switch to winter fuel. The addition of antifreeze to the fuel mix reduces the energy content of a given quantity of fuel so more needs to be burnt to achieve the same energy output.
  10. Exhaust system query (full system / cat-back)

@Syphon I've reported two previous posts from this account that were obvious spam and here is a third. This would appear to be an account created solely to post spam. You might want to consider blocking this account.
  11. Parcel Shelf Rubber

Given the postage cost from them it's probably cheaper to go to a dealer if you have one nearby. Around £7 or £8 each I think from memory.
  12. battery registration

    No. Only models with stop-start.
  13. Haynes manual

According to the Haynes website 6408 is the one that covers the Mk2 Leon pre-facelift with the BMN engine. https://haynes.com/en-gb/seat/leon/2006-2009-20-diesel-183116
  14. Seat Leon MK2 2012 Copa Thermostat housing fasteners/bolt replacement

You sure it's not M7? That's a commonly used size on VAG thermostat housings. Have a look at part number N90945002 (Google search) and see if it matches what you have. It's listed as M7x21.5 It has a hex head on the inside but that could be just down to a design change from the factory one.
  15. Safety recall: 45GS-ABS/ESP Control Unit

The problem is that a fault condition can occur in certain ABS units that the unit's software cannot detect. The software update is to give the unit the ability to detect that particular fault so it is not uncommon for cars to show an ABS fault shortly after having this update. It has always...
  16. Oil Filter Leaks

What engine do you have? There are several oil filter setups used on the Mk2 Leon.
  17. Add AUX to a MK2 Leon that has iPod connector under seat

The OP wants to go the opposite way. They have the optional factory fitted iPod connection kit and therefore no barrel jack aux in.
  18. Formentor or not to Formentor. Dilemma!

I'm not sure what you should do about your predicament but I do want to address this point. The £40k+ VED premium is not a stealth tax. The defining feature of a stealth tax is that it is not clear to the person paying that the money is going to the government. Since the £40k+ VED premium is...
  19. Add AUX to a MK2 Leon that has iPod connector under seat

A 2008 model wouldn't have that at all. That's the facelift aux in unit you are describing. The pre-facelift had a simple barrel jack input on the centre console between the controls and the cup holders. Choosing the optional iPod connection kit meant the car did not get a normal aux input.
  20. What’s this car part?

That's not a VAG part. It's a small project box with a couple of VAG wiring connectors bodged onto it. I think Darkside are spot on. What's inside it? It's probably just a simple circuit (maybe even just a resistor) to fudge the fuel temperature reading.
