    Need wiring diagram

Yes, as I said in the second paragraph of post #6 of this thread over a year ago which you've simply just cut & paste into a new post of your own. https://forums.seatcupra.net/index.php?threads/need-wiring-diagram.438129/#post-4722880

    Sere motors

Are you specifically after someone are SERE Motors, or are you after parts? If the latter then Listers SEAT in Worcester is now the forum sponsor for discounted parts and you should post any parts requests in this section.

    Number plate light issues

OK. No probs. Are you using CAN-Bus LED bulbs? Whether you are or not I would highly recommend that you get the BCM configured to have the cold and warm diagnosis circuits switched off for the number plate bulbs. This will allow any type of LED bulb to be fitted (CAN Bus or non CAN Bus ones)...

    Problem urgent help please

Whoever it was that scanned your car before with VCDS, you really need to get them to do it again and then give you a copy of the scan log so you can post it up here. That will then show us exactly what fault codes are occurring and what type they actually are (intermittent or otherwise). It...

    Problem urgent help please

Can you please post up a full and complete VCDS Auto-Scan of your car so we can see all of the exact fault code information. The intermittent interior sensor fault is a known issue and is seemingly a software bug in some models of the PQ35 body control module. I had my interior sensor module...

    Dashboard facing removal

If you don't already have a set of plastic trim removal tools then they're a worthwhile investment and you can usually improvise using one of the tools instead of the official factory tool. Try to avoid using anything metal wherever possible as you risk damaging something. The plastic tools are...

    cr fr l.e.d's and pics

I've just got normal (non CAN Bus) LED bulbs in my 2012 FL model for the number plate lights. The trick to stop the bulb check warning light coming on is to use VCDS to make a couple of configuration changes to the BCM. Details about what you need to change are in this post.

LED Number Plate Lights That Work!

A recent bump of this thread has reminded me to add a conclusion to post #6 in this thread regarding the VCDS configuration settings for the license plate bulbs for cars with a PQ35 BCM. Back in May this year I did some extensive testing on these settings with both standard incandescent bulbs...

    middle console remove

Here you go :) This is how to remove the gearstick gaitor / boot on a DSG Mk3 Leon:- Move the gear selector to position "D". The push button indicated by the arrow does not need to be pulled out by hand. The push button will end up in the unpressed installation position when the handle is...

    DashCam Wiring Peculiarities

It looks like the piggyback fuse connector that comes with that kit is for a full size fuse holder. Both fuses mentioned in post #2 are mini fuses so you would need one for a "mini" piggyback fuse holder.

    Condensation in headlights

Before you start disconnecting batteries etc, have you scanned the car to see what the actual AFS fault codes are? The dash display just shows a generic warning/error message. The actual fault codes should help to give you a better idea what is causing that error.

    Sheared bolt in arb bracket

Unfortunately yes, this is true. The brackets aren't listed as separate items in the parts catalogue. You could just take one of the existing bolts to a fixing specialist and they should be able to match you up with an equivalent. Or if you happy that you already know the tensile strength and...

    DSG Question

I don't have a Mk3 so the DSG may work slightly different on mine but if I put the stick into neutral I can hear a definite change in tone from the gearbox which means with it still in D it must be spinning some additional shafts in the gearbox. So, to reduce any unnecessary wear and tear on...

    Can anyone help

Yes, most likely child locks. What year is the car? While you say "new" that sometimes just means new to the owner, and not that it's a brand new car. There are different generations of the Alhambra and each one is different. Also, you've posted in the Altea section (probably by mistake). For...

Photobucket disables forum links (3rd party hosting) - 29th June 2017

I use tinypic. It's a bit of an archaic interface by these days standards but I've been using it for probably 10 years and it seems to work OK so I never saw a reason to swap over to something more modern, plus I like to keep all my hosted images for embedding all in one place. It was designed...
