That unit is the Eonon GA9253B android. Just search for Eonon VW on somewhere like Amazon and they should come up although I think they have a newer 9453 model now than the 9253 I bought.

Sorted. Tried again today and all good. Must have been a bad connection somewhere. Have to say been good on my Skoda's and also amazing transformation to throttle response and how the car feels and drives with this on.

I had an RNS 510 and an Android aftermarket head unit in my mk2 FL and the facia was the same. I have same problem trying to get a colour match though as they are too light a shade to match my original trim 2010 FR.

Using vcds I switched navigation on through canbus gateway and then switched bap on in the radio module. I now have an audio and navigation screen in mfd but nothing in them. Also steering controls still don't work with this unit.

Did you have to code it with vcds?
