Yeah they work fine on an LCR fitted them to mine last week as I had a poor handbrake and all seems fine now, try and clean behind the caliper where the lever for the handbrake is with a bit of wd40 and a wire brush and make sure the levers move up and down, had mine sticking due to all the crap...

I wouldn't of thought so, buying the gasket isn't that expensive and could possibly fit it yourself. Im not sure on how easy a job it is but sure somebody could advise you on how to do it, but there is a guide on here somewhere for fitting

I too seem to have this, oil down the back right hand side of the engine, gearbox and under the turbo. Have read that it is possibly the rocker cover gasket and the half moon gasket

Yeaa they seem to both be on slow speed while the aircon is on, the engine temperature seems to just sit at 90 and go no higher, that's through checking from the climate control

As for my situation, the air con works while on the move and both fans come on when it is switched on

I too would like to know if you have found what your problem is/was. I have the same situation as you tombo, my fans don't seem to come on at all unless I switch the air con on but not sure if it is slow or fast speed but also temp doesn't rise above 90 (checked through climate control ecu reading)
