If it has adaptive cruise it'll have these 3 buttons (circled in purple) on the left side panel of the steering wheel. These are how you control the gap between you and the car in front.
As soon as I manually updated to 1940 I got an OTA update. Until then I'd gone months without one. So I suspect if you're stuck on 1890 you won't receive anything else until you get an upgrade to 1940 regardless of Connect subscription status.
After another black screen of death for CarPlay last night I got fed up enough to buy the update and do it myself this morning. Took about half an hour and completed without issue. Here’s hoping it solves the issues!
Out of interest, are there release notes available anywhere for these updates?
Did any of you guys do it yourself?
My dealer seems unaware of this update but the reboots are driving me crazy so I'm considering DIY even though my car is still under warranty.
Yeah I get that. You need to press Sync to get all the zones syncing to the same temp and then you should be able to readjust the rear to whatever you want. 🐛
I love my FR Sport (DSG estate). Looks lovely, drives nice and very practical.
There's the odd random infotainment reset annoyance and the lack of backlight for temp and volume control is annoying in the dark (just bring back some knobs FFS) but other than that it's great.
Put it this way...
Mine had been working fine for a year but after a recent car software update I've started to get a sort of black-screen-of-death occasionally where CarPlay just won't display.
You can still control it with Siri, weirdly, and the Seat OS works fine but the only way I've found to recover CarPlay...
I don't know if this is what you mean, but my 2021 FR Sport has headlights which automagically switch between full beam and dipped when they detect a car coming towards me.
Did a decent sized drive at the weekend on dual carriageway and never once saw a weird speed limit displayed or had an issue overtaking while using ACC.
All they need to do now is fix that annoying visual bug on CarPlay's now playing screen and I'll be a very happy bunny.
Oh, and if they can...
Certainly still doing it in all the music apps I use (Apple Music, Overcast). Annoying. Surely there must be some SEAT software developers using the car with CarPlay, seeing this and thinking "I need to fix this"
I was prompted to do a software update in the car this morning, Release notes were basically useless "minor bugs fixed" or something like that. Anyone else get it and notice any changes?
The rear air conditioning in my car isn't currently pumping out any air. The little LCD display says OFF and the options in the infotainment to switch it on are all greyed out.
Anyone know how to sort this?
