Changed the coding today and the fault code has now gone. Not sure what that setting is supposed to be. Google suggests un networked heat module. Either way selecting not installed has solved the problem..
Just finished the install in my Octavia Vrs. This guide was a great help so thank you to the author.
Everything seems to work fine, I just need to check measuring values in the morning.
The only issue I seem to have is an error code as follows:
Any ideas?
When I came out this morning the coding was back. Had a little play. Turns out just needed a couple of minutes with ignition of before coding would take and register.
So to clarify, heated seat levek will only show on display if heated steering wheel is coded too.
This is a fantastic guide. I have just used it to install the wiring on my Mk3 Skoda Octavia vrs.
I used the kufatec looms. I am still waiting for my heated pads to arrive.
I ordered a used climate control panel with heated seat buttons off Ebay. Had all same parts numbers etc.
When I plugged...

Hi,
I haven't been on here for years, despite still owning my Leon.
It's a Mk2 2.0 tdi ref sport. 2007.
In 2014 I wrote a thread about a turbo replacement and ended up getting a Turbo Technics recon unit fitted.
This has lasted 8 years and only 60k miles. Despite being serviced every 6-8k...
So I wrote this thread years ago, and I still own the car. Sadly I think the turbo has died again. This time it starred either some turbo flutter developing a couple of months ago. Yesterday the car lost power and now had a loud turbo whistle that wasn't there before.
I am looking at getting...
Hi guys,
Not been on for a long time. I have 2007 mk2 leon reference sport with factory fitted btcc kit.
My centre exhaust hanger has corroded and snapped off causing my back box to tilt and the tail pipe has melted the black plastic surround thats attached the bumper.
These just screw on...
Probably means your clutch is on its way out. Monitor and it will probably get worse over time so you should know when to change it. Mine has been doing it for months but hasnt got any worse yet
Did bleed the clutch myself no air. Yours sounds like the piston is sticking especially of the disc is getting Red hot

Have been driving car now for a while and have got used to the pedal again. Still doesn't seem as good as it was but everything seems to be working well enough

You should check the garage as alot of them actually have a proper red and white no entry sign displayed which is part of the highway code. If she has contravened that it may help sway the decision in your favour. Also cctv from the garage may assist as the exits will be covered by cameras in...
Terraclean was only 90 when I had it done I would guess it's more like 110 now.
It wouldn't hurt having it done more regularly as a maintenance thing rather than treatment.
I only get 430-465 out of a tank so you're both lucky. I have an old bkd engine which is crap on fuel economy compared...
Terraclean is a great product. People shouldn't be sceptical about it.
The bad stories that you hear about people saying it caused their injectors to fail etc are not true, they are just proof that the product works.
As the injectors would have already failed but the problem is undiagnosed...
It's strange cos I've never experienced it before and I have bled the brakes twice before on this car. Once when I did a fluid change and once for a new caliper on the front.
I've only ever done it one wheel at a time due to uneven ground

So got car back from garage. Amazingly they said it still had some air in it.
A small amount from both rear lines and even less in one front.
Not really had a proper chance to test it but on first drive it seems slightly firmer.
They stated it all appears to be working as it should...
No haven't solved mine yet. I've given up trying due to lack of time on my part. I will be dropping it off at a German car specialist today
