does it wheel spin alot with the remap? thats only thing whats putting me off from getting mine remapped.

yeah alot better, havent noticed it since its come back with a new turbo fitted. it still needs going back to them as they didnt have enough time to look into the vibration noise from engine, they confirmed fault but need it for a few days to see whats causing it, so its going back on tuesday...

just noticed something vibrating inside engine when it revs at 2k[:@][:@] waiting for someone to ring me back so i can give them a mouthfull car was with them for a full week and they didnt even have courtsey to wash it!! :wtf:

Got car back, havent noticed the shake on idle yet so fingers crossed it stays this way. However i am angry about my tracking being out so will ring them in morning.

It was seat assistance who provided me with the courtsey cars from national car hires.

just got a call saying car is ready, so lets see if the idle problem has been resolved by replacing turbo:confused:

yes they still got it, got given a courtsey car which was a 1.6 tdi kia ceed, rubbish to drive so they replaced it with a golf 1.6 tdi which is also rubbish compared to the cupra [:@][:@] my parts have gone on back order.:cry::cry:

not sure mate, it had been in with them couple of times before so i assume they check for outstanding recalls every time it goes in??

Got a call in morning to let me know that my turbo had collapsed hence the smoke, so will be getting a new turbo, turbo pipes and cat converter all replaced under warranty!!:p:p:funk:

QUICK UPDATE coming back from manchester on saturday night all of a sudden epc light came on and went into limp mode, so i pulled over on layby switched engine off waited few mins re started engine and epc light went off, car was not feeling right power wise so took it easy and drove it back...

Got car back last night, same thing again technician could feel the shake on idle now and then but no stored faults, he checked most of components and couldn't find anything wrong so has recorded the logs and sent them off to seat in milton keynes who will investigate and advise them what to do...

I've always used v power on mine, only had it 3 months but was ok when i got it so has to be something to do with the injectors etc

Misfire has come back so got it booked in again!!!:censored:

They managed to find a misfire on cylinder 2 on mine, he swapped spark plugs misfire was still there so then he swapped injectors and misfire disapeared so got told to monitor it and bring it back when it misfires again :confused::confused:

Mine was booked in today to have it looked at and technician confirmed slight misfire now and then so got asked to leave it with them for a few days so they can get to bottom of it. The technician thinks it could be one of the injectors but will do more checks to confirm. If anyones having same...
