Have you ever done anything like it before? If you get it wrong, it will cost considerably more for a bodyshop to correct. I paid £450 for the painting and fitting of mine, and it was worth every penny as you can't tell it didn't come like that from the factory! It's worth paying for a good...

For the record, the new update has engine temp as one of the display options anyway, the only thing missing is boost and the performance tools, but I found I rarely used them anyway. Can't knock the new update, it's a big improvement over the previous version

I've never fitted Climair, but I do have Heko ones, and they fitted absolutely fine. Installation was as you describe as well, although they do have two little tabs of tape to ensure fitment they are not really required in my opinion. I can only say that the people who have had problems with...

That's fair enough, I got the spare wheel option thrown in by the dealer when I ordered my car, so I don't need to go down that route, though I would have done had I not got that

I'm tempted by a spare alloy, but if I can just get the current ones repaired that would be preferable. Gonna speak to the bodyshop that did my skirts and spoiler and see if they can do anything. Good luck and let me know how you get on with yours too!

Due to an idiot not paying attention whilst driving and nearly hitting me, I had to take evasive action and caught my passenger alloys on a kerb (figured that was better than losing the front/driver's side of the car!). Front is scratched all around the rim, and the rear has a 2 inch section...

Not really, seems to happen when I slow down from 60/70 to stand still and then crawl in traffic and stop again, I'm assuming it's over fuelling slightly and the exhaust being hot from the higher speed run causes the popping

Noticed today what sounded like overrun popping from the exhaust after coming off the dual carriageway and having to stop in traffic on the slip road, almost sounded like a quiet back fire, does anyone know if this is normal for the 1.2 tsi, or do I need to get it back into the dealer?

No trouble at all, think it cames down to choosing a reputable bodyshop to carry out the work I bought them off a guy who advertised them on here, although you can buy them direct from SEAT Cheers mate :D

I'll second the spoiler and skirts as a definite!! Had them fitted yesterday, well chuffed with it!
