That search function can be dodgy ;). I'd personally get revo as I have it and it's awesome, or go evoms as they're highly rated Aswell.
If you've not already had a look have a gander on here. http://r-techperformance.co.uk/2-0-tfsi-tuning/
Many many many... many threads on this so you'll probably not get much response. Have a search and there's a few threads that go into detail.
Revo and evoms seem to be the most popular
Yeah can use with standard suspension, takes 5-10 minutes to fit only 3 bolts ether side and pops on and off. You don't have to have wheel alignment but it will help if you do
Yeah awsome gti do them but I got mine from Damian at DPM. I have the bilstein b12 and eibach arb kit along with the anti lift. It's like a different car. The anti lift definitely helps put the power down
The powerflex anti lift is a good piece of kit. But on a side note maybe change the lower engine mounts and bolts at same time. I had my antilift on about a week before snapping both lower mount bolts.
Check Cam follower and DV as you may already have the G and the follower maybe perfectly...
You will always get different views on "better", I had AP Coilovers then switched to bilstein b12 pro kit (shocks and spring). Abit more pricey but Leagues apart in my opinion. The APs were really good for the price tbh but the b12 are just amazing :)
These proven gains you're after will be hard to come by especially if your mapping your car, not many people will map a car with a standard intake and then remap it with an aftermarket one to see if there's a difference. And most of the gains from an intake will come when mapped.
I'm no tuner...
Probably not much help but I just use highest gear I can depending on conditions. My cupra will happily cruse in 6th doing 30 along a flat. My diesel Clio will do 30th in 5th..,
Afternoon all. I'm in need of the lower dog bone engine mount. Quick question is the main bolt in the subframe bolted at the back so you have to drop subframe of can you get it of without?
Cheers Lewis
Cheers lads. I live in Sheffield so not much local but close by lol.
I was looking at track days that you use your own cars but get an instructor, but can't remember where I saw it
I was planning on nurburgring last year but as a total track noob I decided against it.
And cheers I'll have a...
Cheers for the info much appreciated.
I've just been looking at the local track days but might avoid the open pit lanes like you've said.
Not looking at smashing the car around as I'll cry like a little girl if I bin it lol
Evening all.
Looking at doing some track days this year. Just a few questions, first I'm guessing you need a helmet? And what about insurance? I'm pretty sure my insurance company won't be happy with me tazzing around a track so where do you guys get your insurance from? Also anything else I...
