Seat CS tell me there's a software update to address this now. I need to find the time to book my car in to try it out.

I went to reopen my case with Seat CS. They told me that my car doesn't have a technical problem !?!? They said to take it up with the dealer, back to square one. It's costing me valuable time and petrol and they haven't made any progress since day one. Useless... I'll not buy a Seat again.

Mines started doing it again now the temperature has dropped. I've reopened my case with Seat CS and I'm waiting for a callback. My car's been into the dealers 4 times already at least. Last time for a week. The said they fixed it last time too... I'll be pushing for a full headlamp replacement.

Seat CC have closed my case again as they feel the problem won;t be present enough until next winter to troubleshoot... Which I understand but is still ****. I haven;t had to drive in the dark for a while but last time I did the headlight problem was still there, just took less time to clear...

Fingers crossed.... Seat CS are still to find an answer

I totally agree.. the original S3 was stunning and clearly stood out from the A3.. The modern ones are boring.

Seat CS tell me that the factory have accepted that there is a problem with a number of vehicles and are looking for a solution. I'll get bi-weekly updates until it's resolved. All dealers should receive a notification of the issue and the lack of fix for now to collect details of affected...

I already drive around in Individual mode with the engine in Comfort but the DSG in sport to try and quieten the damn thing down.. I'd rather my car was honest. :) I'm embarrassed for the car when I have passengers and I explain the actuator to them.. Did you just use a fork or knife to prize...

Thanks Ocularis :) DEAN0, I saw others have had an error thrown up if they went below 50% on the sound actuator setting, did you get this ? I'm looking to have it set to 0%

I want to get the soundaktor / actuator thingy turn off all together and disable the stop/start system. Has anyone got an easy guide for that handy ? I'm planning to ask an Indi specialist to do it for me. Alternatively if anyone knows how to do it, has VCDS , lives within a reasonable...
