You should get decent hubcentric spacers and not cheapies and this won't be a problem. You'll also need longer wheelbolts. Badger Bill on here can supplyall you need I believe.
If i remember correctly the guide on here to drilling your airbox also shows some pics of the splitter meshed.
Also the holes on the passengers side of the splitter are something to do with the tdi ibiza - cooling or something
Doesn't the cupra sport also have less sound deadening stuff in it to save a bit of weight ?
Mine is a 99-V Cupra Sport (says so on the log book), ABS, no AC, no sunroof
Mine is going on the market in the next couple of weeks I think.
99 V-reg Cupra Sport in white with 63000 on the clock. Completely standard apart from the mk3 alloys. Generally in good condition but it has a couple of scratches which I'm going to get sorted before it goes. Runs great and have...
Onto my 2nd white Ibiza in a row now.
Had a 1.3CL then traded it for a white 8v Cupra Sport which I've had for about 6 years now.
Maybe its time to sell if everyone is so keen on white :)
When putting the box back in after drilling etc how are the pipes reattached ? Just wondered if the metal clips that hold them on have to be replaced with jubilees or are they still usable ?
A Megane Coupe and a baby just don't go together. Have you seen how narrow the boot opening is, and you'll have to get alsorts of baby-related paraphernalia. You'll need a 4 door with a decent boot for a few years I'd say.
I know someone who has run his diesel corsa for years on plain veg oil with a bit of diesel mixed in. He hasn't changed anything in the car to do this apparently, although he needs to add more diesel in the winter to thin the mix.
It surprised me that the thing worked at all.
Used to have a Megane and on the passenger side the bit you clip the seat belt into used to vibrate and make a really annoying sound - Only thing that stopped it was to leave the seat belt fastened all the time - even with no passenger.
The Ibiza has the usual squeaks and rattles for the...
Is this splitter the standard GTi one ? Mine originally had a smoother one on and i replaced it for one of these (with the cut-away on oneside). Some scrote has nicked it though so a trip to the dealers is due.
Onto my 2nd Mk2 now. The first was a 1.3CL and the current a 8v Cupra Sport, both in white. Must be about 10 years of Seat motoring in total now. Keep thinking of changing cars but I really enjoy driving mine.
