At the moment the housing including the actuator arm is tucked in and cabled tied so it wont rattle. Will there be any problems taking it through the mot like that ?

Egr Thanks for all the comments, really appreciate the help. Took the egr pipe off and put the blanking plate on. I have only one vacuum pipe which connects to the top of egr delete pipe itself, only question i have what do i do with the egr switch ?

I just bought another used egr pipe, ffs i wish i seen your post first. Ive got the new pipe installed with the blanking plate, but it will be getting removed tomorrow and directly blanked off. another stupid question, will the pressure not build up behind this blanking plate and cause more...

ive never altered my insurance to include them as modified cars, don't intend to right them off. Ive bought this car and just want to put some solid cash into to set it up right. but ill take your advice

Got a good deal on the 1.9, and everyone i spoke to told me not to go near the 2.0 because its prone to more problems. Can the 1.9 be remapped with out any physical modifications ?
