Same here. I didn't understand the attraction of an SUV with a smaller boot than an estate, especially the 2WD ones (what's the point?) Must be all about ride height. Have to admit the ATECA looks very nice though and the Mrs said she would have perhaps preferred the ATECA to the XP for the ride...

As far as understand the diesel cars are still better for the environment in terms of CO2 emissions so Percy Polar and those with houses dipping into the sea are fine, it's more those people who don't like poisonous gases in their lungs who we should be apologising to.

It turned out hill hold was working in the end. I think the specific warranty issue would have been in regards to items that not fitted as specified from the factory - to be honest not sure why that would be the case.

Yeah, after a month with the car I just can't trust the traffic on the satnav. I still use it generally mind you, but for periods when I know the traffic is going to be bad and unpredictable, like coming back into london on a Sunday evening, I use the traffic on the TomTom on my phone.
