  6. Hello! Do I Realky Want a Seat?!

Owner of a 53/04 Leon Cupra Tdi 150. Fantastic cars, of course with age comes wear and tear. Do the normal and check Cam belt, All those bloody turbo pipes are in place and secure (the VW clips persist with can be a nightmare), signs of water leaks (very very common with vags) but check or ask...
  7. Steering Issues

Issue is still ongoing and worse than ever. It was very recently taken a on test run a VAG specialist who described it as "all over the place" & not only pulling left its pulling to the right, no traction and wheels fighting against each other, was told there is a "little play in the rack" but...
  8. Steering Issues

was my immediate thought so took it back to my mate who discovered the issue, it was tight. I will have it replace it like you have suggested as once removed the retaining tang gets bent back from what I've now been told
  9. Steering Issues

Past garage did track rod ends and top mounts, a time for the driveshaft nut to be messed with? anyway we seem to have fixed 90% of the issue, the steering is still too light and there is play in it still, nothing like previous granted but its annoying to say the least more so as the trip i...

  12. How do i work the cruise control on my cupra?

Pretty much however if you just press it there is no response, you need to hold it to the left (RES) and after a little delay it accelerates away. My set button doesn't seem to work so i hold and allow the car to acclerate to the desired speed and let go and it just "sets" think that may be a...
  13. How do i work the cruise control on my cupra?

Make sure its switched from "OFF" nothing will indicate on the dash that's in operation, now drive along and then hold the switch the the left for a moment or two and it should the start to accelerate.
