So now I've had, cam chain and tensioner done. Cambelt and water pump replaced. Inlet valves walnut blasted and injectors cleaned. New oil pick up. Full service. Helix clutch kit and braided clutch line. All done over the last 3 months. Getting ready for tte480

Make sure your issuing the NGK plugs. Check to see if the misfire follows if you swap plugs and coil pack.

I was after a black cupra R, just couldn't find one that I liked. Then I saw the grey one and feel in love with it. 380hp is 2+ territory. I believe the cupra R all use the CDL lump as found in the mk6 R an S3 variants.

As mentioned above it's worth having the inlet valves cleaned and injectors tested. Also get a fmic put onto your list. In terms of reliability I'd have the cam chain tensioner done for piece if mind also drop the sump and oil pick up replaced.

Had the cam chain tensioner done yesterday and took her for a spin. Gave her a bit of boost as I'm still bedding in the clutch. Can't wait for dry weather when I can finally put the power down

Still bedding the helix clutch in. AKS recommend doing 5-600 miles of gear changes. I'm finding it difficult to do without giving it boost. Today I'll be looking at swapping over to AKS gear link bushes. Also booked her in to have the cam chain tensioner done.

Yesterday picked up my R after having the Helix clutch kit and Braided line from AKS. booked in to have my cambelt and cam chain tensioner done while on holiday in 3 weeks time. I want to treat myself to a short shift kit which one do I go for ? What kit do people recommend?
