You should have changed the wear sensor too. Once the warning light comes on (the disc has worn away the material of the sensor and broken the connector wire) , the right way to get rid of the light in the dash is replacing the wear sensor.

There are different sites where you can get them, though they are not cheap and are prepared to be used taking some wires to the BCM. If you get these ones, you would have to do a couple of changes (pin 10). No doubt you would save a lot of money if you create them by yourself.

Well, looking for second hand parts and being a bit patient, everything is possible! I made the conversion for 800€, buying on eBay. Of course I found parts for the double price too, but I was in no rush.
Imagine spending £ 800-1000 in new led headlights to find the same condensation? That would definitely break your heart!
